"Berlin Connection" tells the compelling story of Victor Werner, Ilse Braun, and Kurt Meyer--all set on bringing down the Berlin Wall, even at the risk of their lives.

"The Raptor and the Mourning Dove" hits hard at the problems soldiers have in coming home from war. The novel is set in the Iraq war and the characters, an army sniper and a medic, face the most pressing issues confronting modern veterans of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"Homeward Bound" draws on the homecoming experiences described in "Prodigals" when a young officer returns from his first combat experiences as a Vietnam adviser with an ARVN battalion operating in the Vietnam Delta. Then when his life is changed as the war has also changed he returns again from a seemingly different war.

In "Homeward Bound" similar experiences are traced for veterans of the American Revolution, the Civil War for both northern and southern veterans, World Wars I and II, Korea - the forgotten war, and Vietnam - the unforgotten war, and for veterans of the current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Richard Taylor draws on years of military experience as a resource for his historical work, creative non-fiction, and historically-based fiction.
